Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Mechanical Engineer in St. John's, NL.

Responsibilities
· Drill Rig Brownfield Modification Project support.
· Coordination with 3rd party contractors on ongoing scopes (fabrication, outstanding bids, scope clarifications/queries, etc.).
· Development/refinement of scope; specification of specific deliverables, identification of relevant codes/standards/regulations, identification of required approvals and generation of MOC's.
· Support project close out activities per MOC requirements
· Support ongoing rig operations (i.e., temporary repairs, new equipment, improvement opportunities, etc.)
· Coordinate internal and external stake holder engagement meetings
· Project Cost & Schedule Development and stewardship
Requirements
· An Intermediate Engineer would be acceptable or equivalent of training and or experience.
· Drilling experience would be a big asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65.00-$85.00 per hour
